A day celebrating Mongolian culture at Chilham Castle will include camel racing, camel rides and camel ice cream.
The Wild Camel Protection Foundation – a registered UK charity dedicated to protecting from extinction the critically endangered wild camel in Mongolia and China – is organising a camel race day at Chilham Castle on Sunday, September 4.
There will be camel racing: a ladies race, a hunt race, a Mongolian race and an Old Explorers Race. The winners will then go on to compete in the final.
Mongolians will be there in force entertaining the crowd with Mongolian wrestling, music and nearly 30 stalls selling everything from Mongolian food to exotic oils.
